2005 - 25th Anniversary
The year 2005 marks 25 wonderful years in business for TASCHEN & is plenty of cause to celebrate. Dozens of perennial TASCHEN favorites are reborn as special anniversary edition titles for very special anniversary prices & judging by the phenomenal sales, Taschen's fans around the world were happy to celebrate with Taschen. The anniversary editions being Taschen's way of saying "thanks" to its readers, Taschen decides to give its employees & friends a HUGE thank you with a slamming weekend at the Parco dei Principi hotel in Sorrento, Italy, where over 200 TASCHENites from across the globe come together for three days of festivities in a breathtaking setting. Also, TASCHEN resurrects William Claxton's long out-of-print Jazzlife with a new & improved reprint of the phenomenal book originally produced by Claxton & musicologist Joachim Berendt in 1960.
