Some Democrats are unhappy that Obama agreed to extend expiring tax cuts not just for the middle class but also for higher earners. Fraud Involving Debit Cards and Personal-Identification Numbers Is On The Rise

Techniques such as "skimming," in which criminals capture card information and personal-identification numbers, have existed for years, often on a small scale. Organized gangs now are pulling off more-sophisticated attacks.
Whereas most of the fraud in previous years took place at independent ATMs or at retail points of sale, fraud at bank-owned ATMs made up more than 80% of the breaches in the first six months of this year.

Till now, skimming equipment was relatively crude and clunky, attached to card-readers with double-stick foam tape and relying on small cameras to record hands punching in PINs. The new devices include equipment that fits inside pinhead-sized cameras. card readers, and well-crafted attachments that sit snugly on top of ATM card readers and PIN pads. Bluetooth technology allows the fake card reader and PIN pad to talk to each other, and data drives or wireless technology can make downloading of stolen information quick and easy.

The GOP Won Majority Control of the House

The GOP won majority control of the House but not the Senate, and some Republicans were blaming the tea party for the failure to clinch both chambers in an election trending strongly against the Democratic majorities in Congress.
Voters hit the reset button on American politics Tuesday. There is no more Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, no more one-party control of the Federal Government, no more Obama landslide map. The USA awaken this morning to all the same problems, but the menu of solutions is up for grabs. The future, including the 2012 presidential election, starts right now.
The swing voters who flocked to Obama two years ago turned against his agenda, electing a tidal wave of new Republican members of Congress, and "shaving the Democratic advantage in the Senate to a hair's breadth."
